History
Isaacs & Isaacs has a unique approach to the practice of law, and specifically personal injury, built into the very foundation of the firm.
Sheldon Isaacs began his career, not as a lawyer, but as a pharmacist. He ran a successful drugstore in Louisville, KY until 1968, when Sheldon sold the store and enrolled in law school. After passing the bar in 1972, Sheldon worked part time as an attorney while still continuing a part time pharmaceutical job.
In his role as an attorney, Sheldon Isaacs quickly discovered that he was drawn to personal injury work. He found his expertise in the field of pharmacy complimented that interest. Sheldon's knowledge of pharmacology, drugs' influence on the body, anatomy, and the physical effects of trauma gave him a clear advantage when going over case depositions filled with medical terminology.
In 1989, Sheldon’s youngest son Darryl enrolled in the University of Louisville School of Law. While still in school, Darryl worked as a clerk for his father. It was quickly evident that Darryl shared Sheldon's passion for personal injury cases. After graduating in 1991, Darryl joined his father’s firm as a partner and Isaacs & Isaacs was born.
The combination of special experience, strong family ties and a deep connection to local community has made Isaacs & Isaacs a law firm that produces compelling results.
