The most common types of brain injuries include:
  • Severe traumatic brain injury: impairments are obvious and profound and may result in the inability to move, weakness or abnormalities and loss of sensation, coordination or intellectual capacity.
  • Mild traumatic brain injury: subtle neurological and mental changes, usually caused as a result of what appears to be a minor accident in which the brain is jarred. These are can be difficult to notice and often overlooked.

Signs and symptoms of a brain injury are not always easy to recognize or may be mistaken for something else.

Signs and symptoms of traumatic brain injury may include:
  • Physical symptoms: dizziness, loss of balance, headaches, nausea and vomiting, blurred vision, drowsiness and confusion
  • Mental cognitive symptoms: intermittent disorientation, amnesia, short-term memory loss, poor judgment and poor concentration
  • Emotional symptoms: depression, agitation, irritability, apathy, confrontational attitude, explosive temper, fearfulness and impatience, personality changes in general, sleep (early morning awakening) and appetite disturbances

All cases are handled on a "contingency” basis, which means that there are no legal fees due unless your case has been won.

Once we have proven that your injury was caused by negligence, we will go after monetary compensation to cover pain and suffering, loss of wages, medical expenses, and other relevant costs.
