Isaacs and Isaacs is a full service law firm concentrating in personal injury law, which includes auto accidents, head and brain injuries, and wrongful death. Sheldon Isaacs began his career as a pharmacist and ran a successful drugstore in Louisville, KY. In 1968, Sheldon sold the store and enrolled on law school. After passing the bar in 1972, Sheldon worked part-time as an attorney and part-time as a pharmacist. He soon realized that personal injury work interested him most. In addition, he found his pharmacy background to be a great compliment to his law practice because he had a working knowledge of pharmacology, how drugs work in the body, anatomy, how the body is affected by trauma and physiology. This gave him a clear advantage when going over case depositions, which were full of medical terms.

In 1989, Sheldon’s youngest son Darryl enrolled in the University of Louisville School of Law. While enrolled he began clerking for his father and soon found that he shared his fathers passion for personal injury cases. After graduating in 1991, Darryl joined his father’s firm as a partner and Isaacs and Isaacs was born.
